Chosen and Beloved was established in response to needs identified through community outreach, social action work, and the lived experiences of individuals within diverse communities.
Our charity exists to:
- Support women, children, and other victims affected by physical, sexual, emotional, financial, and psychological abuse within intimate or family relationships.
- Offer signposting and referral services to specialist andprofessional support services, including counselling, advocacy,welfare assistance, and practical guidance for victims andsurvivors of abuse and gender-based violence.
- Advance education, research, and training that increase understanding of domestic abuse and gender-based violence, particularly within minority ethnic communities.
- Promote charitable activities that relieve poverty, strengthen wellbeing, and support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing social and economic disadvantage throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.
